When u lose wat u luv..u go thru 5 stages :
1. Denial - "No, it cant b happening"
2. Anger - "God, why r u permitting dis?"
3. Bargaining - "Plez make it go away"
4. Depression - "Silence n withdrawal"
5. Acceptance - "Not my will but Yours b done,LORD"
Whether it's d loss of a marriage, a job, ur health, a close fren or a loved one, when u turn 2 GOD, He'll giv u d grace 2 embrace it, grieve it, express it, release it, n go on 2 bcome STRONGER.
Sometimes we seek quick relief by releasing it b4 we've gone thru dis stages. Dat's bcoz we fear d process. We've been taught dat any show of emotion is a show of weakness, so we stuff it,sit on it trying 2 keep d contents frm spilling out.It's noeing n embracing d truth,including its painful aspects, dat sets u free. u must b willing 2 forgiv.But until u come 2 grips wth d enormity of ur loss, including any injustice of wat ws done 2u, u r nt ready 2 4giv. When u rush 2 4giv,u 4giv only in part n u're released only in part.
R u running frm pain 2day? R u trading it in prematurely 4 some other feeling? dats nt God's way. Jesus said..."u wil weep and mourn...but eventually ur grief wil turn 2 joy.... and no one will take it away" Jhn 16 : 20~22 NIV.
